Vegetarian, vegan or plant-based diets

Transitioning to a vegetarian, vegan or plant-based diet can be a powerful way to look after your  health, and the health of our planet

There are lots of reasons that you or members of your family might want to shift to a different way of eating: the environmental, ethical and health arguments are compelling.

But a vegetarian, vegan or plant-based diet does not automatically equal a healthy diet. You may need to give additional thought to how best to include specific nutrients in your diet, and help to develop a well-planned diet can be useful.

I offer support for individuals or families who want to make sure that they are meeting all their nutritional needs as they transition to a vegetarian, vegan or plant-based diet.

Working together, we will develop a balanced diet that is the right fit for you and your family, helping you to make confident food choices for everyday vitality and long-term health.

I encourage everyone I work with to increase the amount and diversity of plant-based foods in their diets (think fruit, vegetables, wholegrains, pulses, nuts and seeds, herbs and spices…) as this simple shift can make an enormous difference in your overall wellbeing.

But if you are a vegetarian, vegan or plant-based, you may need to give additional thought to how include specific nutrients in your diet.
