I am a PhD researcher at the UK Food Systems Centre for Doctoral Training, focusing on healthy and sustainable diets.
With a professional background in Environmental Sustainability, I know that the food we eat has an enormous impact on our planet. Combined with 20 years of running marathons, and an associated preoccupation with the benefits of good nutrition for health and performance, a sidestep into the world of food and nutrition was a perfect fit for me.
Prior to starting my PhD, I studied Postgraduate Clinical Nutrition to deepen my understanding of the complex relationship between food and health. Nutrition is a fast-moving and fascinating area of research and I couldn’t be happier disappearing into the cutting-edge science.
But effective nutrition coaching is about so much more than food. I bring to our coaching relationship my professional experience in coaching and mentoring, to enable you to make significant and lasting changes. I want to equip you with the knowledge and skills to make confident choices, day after day.
(This is not about me, it's about you!)
My PhD research at the Centre for Food Policy focuses on healthy and sustainable diets.
